Fabulous Halloween Games For Parties
Regardless of the age you are catering to, every party needs some sort of games. There are several great games that tend to be very popular no matter the age group, which makes them also perfect additions for mixed ages as well. While every party needs a game, most Halloween parties need a few pumpkins as well, so grab a few pumpkins and get ready to have some fun. Super Halloween Game 1. Think about passing an egg without using your hands. Now exchange the egg for a pumpkin and there you go. You want to take a pumpkin that is about 3" in diameter and remove the top so it does not hurt anyone. The person who starts should tuck it under their chin and start carefully passing it to the next person. Remember, the trick is you are not allowed to use your hands, so it is vital to take your time and try your best not to laugh. If you are playing this game with various age groups it is best to plan it out before starting so that a really tall person is not by a really short person, try to smooth out the heights a bit to make it easier on everyone.
Super Halloween Game 2. Costume contests are always really fun. Create several categories and choose a few people to play the judge. If the party is for kids, allow some adults who are there to play judge and have a few ghostly prizes on hand for the winners. A few fun categories are scariest, best, and cutest. This is a sure fire way to get everybody pumped up and excited, and prizes can be as small or as elaborate as you choose. Super Halloween Game 3. Bobbing for apples is a classic Halloween game that kids all really love. It does tend to be a bit messy though, so make sure parents are aware ahead of time so costumes will not be ruined by the water. Grab a huge tub or bowl and fill it with water. Toss in some clean apples into the water and everybody gets to work to fish an apple out without using their hands and only their mouths. This is a really fun game that kids love. If you really want to make it interesting, you can give out prizes for the person who manages to get their apple the fastest. To do this make sure you keep a pen and paper with a stopwatch by the bowl so you can accurately time everyone. Super Halloween Game 4. Grab a whole lot of toilet paper and prepare to create some mummies. Divide the room into groups of two and give each group a single roll of toilet paper. If you are working with kids especially this is all they are going to need. One person is the wrapper, while the other is the mummy. At the signal, everybody starts wrapping up their mummy using the roll of toilet paper. Once the mummy is wrapped you can have a contest to see who was wrapped the best and then unwrap everyone and start over again this time switching roles for the wrapper and the mummy. This is a ton of fun and everybody always ends up enjoying this game a lot. |
